Edvard Grieg was born on June 15, 1843 in Bergen, Norway. He was best known as a Norwegian composer and pianist. As a child he used to carry around a frog figurine. A family friend was ole bull and Norwegian violinist. Edvard was famous for his classical music. He was born during the romantic era.
His inspirations were J.P.E Hartman and Neil's Gade. Edvard left Norway to study music in the Conservatory in Leipzig. One of Greig's most famouse pieces is The Hall of the Mountain king. He was Norways greatest composer as well.
